MDBA Is A Trade Name For 4,4'-Bis-Sec-Butylaminodiphenylmethane, Also Known As Unilink 4200, Which Is A Liquid Secondary Diamine, Since The Hydrogen Atom On Each Amino Group Is Replaced By A Sec-Butyl Group The Combination Of Active Hydrogen Atoms And Sec-Butyl Groups In A Limited Space Produces Many Unique Properties, With The Amino Moiety Forming The Urea Bonds That Affect The Hard Segments, While The Butyl Groups Act As Internal Plasticizers. It Is Connected With The Polymer Matrix, Neither Leaching Nor Precipitation. While The Alkyl Group Increases The Solubility Of The Diamine So That It Can Be Mixed With Almost Any Polyol And Polyamine.

Soft Foam
Bulk Foam - In The Standard TDI And High Rebound Foam Composition, Adding 3-5php Of 4,4'-Bis-Sec-Butylaminodiphenylmethane-MDBA, Unilink4200 Can Improve The Tensile Strength Of The Foam, Tear Strength And The Bearing Properties, In Most Cases These Advantages Can Be Achieved By Reducing The Foam Density In A Polyester Foam, The Same Proportion Of 4,4'-Bis-Sec-Butylaminodiphenylmethane-MDBA Can Significantly Improve Tear Strength And Loadability Without Affecting The Other Properties Of The Foam.
